Will your new sofa fit inside? Helpful tips for delivery

You have chosen the perfect new sofa, our craftsmen are working for you and the delivery date is known. Just a few more minutes and you'll be able to sit back and relax. But will the new sofa fit through the door? Read the checklist and nothing will stand in the way of your new seating area.

Will the couch fit through the door?

Before your new sofa is delivered, it's smart to carefully check the route to your living room.

  1. Check the dimensions of your sofa

On our website you will find the exact dimensions of your sofa for each model under the heading 'dimensions'. So you can easily check whether the sofa will fit through doors and hallways upon delivery.

  1. Narrow passages

Measure the width and height of your doorways and other narrow passages in your home. Also allow for a little extra room for maneuvering, this will make bringing in your new sofa a lot easier.

  1. Pivot points

Does the sofa need to make a turn or go up a flight of stairs somewhere in the house? Measure these areas carefully and allow for some extra margin to get the sofa through your home without damage.  

  1. Upper floor or difficult access

If you live on an upper floor and the couch won't fit in via stairs or an indoor elevator, the carrier can arrange for a moving elevator. You can easily add this to the confirmation email from TSN. Click here for more information.

Day of delivery

The time has come, today the sofa will be delivered! Make sure the way to your living room is completely clear. Put loose items out of the way temporarily, so that the deliverers have enough space to put your sofa in its place. This is because they are not moving any existing furniture in the house. The sofa will be placed where you want it. If necessary, the legs are mounted and the sofa parts are connected. Packaging is returned and textile covers are reused. Good for the environment.

Returning an old sofa

Do you still have an old sofa? In the Netherlands and Belgium it is possible to return your old sofa via the carrier against payment. This can be added via the delivery confirmation email as an extra service, do this 4 working days before delivery. More information can be found here.
