From children's garden to dream garden
Wendy has lived in her newly built home in Twello for 11 years. The garden began as a real child-friendly garden with a lawn, decking, slide and swing on a pergola. As the children got older, the need grew for a more mature garden that the whole family could enjoy. Wendy enlisted the help of a garden designer to bring her ideas to life.

Making smart use of an L-shaped garden
Wendy's garden is L-shaped, which made the design a fun challenge. It was important to the couple that the garden exude peace and unity, with a mix of round shapes, different structures, and height differences. This created a garden where you can find a nice spot in the sun or shade at any time of day. Black accents, such as the posts, provide a modern contrast to the warm Corten steel and natural materials. The trampoline was also buried and stylishly integrated into the design. This leaves a playful element for the children without disturbing the soothing whole of the garden.
A canopy as an eye-catcher
The modern canopy forms the heart of the garden: a place to lounge, read a book. or get together with friends and family. The combination of clean lines, a concrete cast floor and a warm wooden slatted wall gives the garden a luxurious and at the same time homely feeling. With a fireplace added, it feels like a second living room, but outdoors.
